My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant overall. The rooms were comfortable and clean, but we did encounter some issues with housekeeping. The staff was friendly and helpful, but there were a few hiccups in the service. The location was convenient for our activities, even though the neighborhood was not the nicest. The dining experience left something to be desired, but the facilities were decent.
Rooms
7.0
The rooms were very clean and had all the amenities that you would expect. However, there was hair all over the place, and we got skipped by the cleaning staff two out of the three mornings we were still there. But overall, a decent stay.
Service
8.0
The staff went out of their way to help us when we checked in and offered us options for evening walks. Despite some minor issues, they were friendly and attentive.
Location
6.0
The location was perfect for getting to the mountain bike trails and to the highway, which was very convenient for us. The area is not the nicest neighborhood, but it served our purpose well. We did have a small inconvenience with housekeeping skipping our room, which was a bit of a downside.
Dining
5.0
The dining experience was not the greatest. It seemed understaffed and messy. The breakfast offering was minimal, with just three pieces of bread, a bagel, and two yogurts, and there was no attendant in sight. The ambience could be improved.
Facilities
6.0
The outside of the building needs some updating, but the rooms are good. The amenities provided were decent overall, with some room for enhancement.

6.2/10
My stay at the hotel was overall pleasant, but there were some areas that could use improvement. The rooms, while spotless, had some real issues such as dated furnishings and thin sheets. The service was a bit hit or miss, with some staff appearing overworked and occasionally snarky. The location was convenient, within walking distance of downtown Bend but could use some maintenance. Facilities were decent, but there were ongoing construction disturbances during my stay.

6.2/10
The hotel rooms are very nice, from the little sitting area to the bed to the bathroom area. However, the smell of cleaning products to cover up old cigarette stench was a downside to this hotel. The price of almost $200 for a king room may not be worth it.
Rooms
7.0
Despite the nice decor, the strong smell of cleaning products to mask the old cigarette odor was a major drawback. The room layout, including the sitting area, bed, and bathroom, was satisfactory.
Service
5.0
The service was overworked, and the desk clerk seemed a bit snarky at times, possibly due to short staffing. On the positive side, they eventually found the plunger upon request.
Location
6.0
The hotel's location was a bit sketchy, near downtown but in a modern area with fast-food places and a busy road. The fact that it was American-operated was reassuring, especially after dark.
Dining
6.0
The dining experience was fair, with good service and a variety of options. The staff was friendly and attentive, but the quality of the food was average.
Facilities
7.0
The facilities were decent with standard amenities.
